Children
Children are an integral part of the St. Giles community. We seek to
help our children experience God’s love through our programs.
The young people of St. Giles are actively involved in the life of the
parish in many different ways. They attend Church (Sunday) School and
serve in worship as Acolytes and Readers. From time to time they
enact the scripture readings, bringing new life to ancient words.
Their active and visible participation helps to make worship here a
rich experience.
Some work with younger children by assisting in the church school and
caring for toddlers. The children participate in parish social events
and community outreach efforts, such as the Moraga July 4th
celebration, the annual Pear Festival, and the family giving tree
program.
